As Spring progresses and your seedlings grow into strong plants you might find it helpful to fold down the staging and shelving on your glasshouse. Hey presto now you have the full floor to ceiling height to grow even stronger plants. Why not leave it folded down over winter to give you more floor space for overwintering potted plants. With a cultivar glasshouse you have options.
For additional storage add a set of Series 3 aluminium slatted shelves to your glasshouse. Ideal for the plain end of the glasshouse or equally useful along a free side where you might choose to double up. When it comes to choosing the right greenhouse the options are many and varied, from Victorian style to contemporary greenhouses. To help we have a useful configurator which will guide you through the different sizes and styles available. That way before buying a greenhouse you can be sure you are choosing the best model for your garden.
Whatever your choice every greenhouse is carefully drawn, crafted and made by hand with expert care and attention. At Cultivar we design and build quality greenhouses to last a lifetime, a quality our clients’ understand sets us apart.
It’s not just the build quality that sets a Cultivar Greenhouse apart from your run of the mill greenhouses. Our greenhouses are packed with features that improve your life and make for healthier plants. Take for example our automated low level ventilation, which combined with the high level ventilation produces the chimney effect. This creates an even distribution of air throughout the structure, there’s no need to be concerned about the stale pockets of air that you might find with traditional greenhouse designs.
Step through the wide and strong hinged doors and inside you will find our practical shelving solution which can be folded down in the summer to give you more height as your plants put on growth. In buying a luxury greenhouse from Cultivar you are investing in a greenhouse packed with features.
Take a look inside our greenhouses in this video taken at the Hampton Court Flower Show and you will appreciate the quality and learn a little more about the features that set us apart.
We believe in using the most enduring materials, precision engineered with exceptional attention to detail. With over twenty-five custom extrusions on every cultivar greenhouse we have engineered a structure fit for purpose. Inherently strong, slim sections ensure maximum light whilst creating a sleek modern aesthetic. Even our neat gutters and downpipes are made from powder coated aluminium to match in with the greenhouse.Explore our Greenhouses

Just a huge big thank you to you all, I love my green house. So many compliments about it , those I have only had it up for three days. It is full of seedlings plants and cuttings even some coffee seedlings that were given to me in January. We are looking forwards to many years of enjoying the new greenhouse. It is brilliant so warm (and posh). Thank you all again for making a very stylish smart greenhouse that blends so well with our new build here in Cumbria.Mrs M Smith

I thought you might like to hear of my experience of my Cultivar greenhouse during the heatwave. The challenge is to keep the temperature at not more than 30C. I achieved this most of the time, but once the outside temperature reached 35.5 I had to admit a temporary defeat. The automatic vents have been a boon. I used your shades, of course, and added a triangle of fleece outside the western gable end. I left the door open for much of the time, kept evaporation trays under the staging full of water, kept capillary mats moist on the staging, and dampened down the floor. The tomatoes have survived unscathed. The bell peppers have lost a bit of firmness, but will recover. I haven’t de-leafed the tomatoes as much as would normally be desirable, reckoning that the more transpiration from them the better. Tomato variety is Queen of St Marthe. Best wishesJ Altham

I can’t tell you how much we are enjoying the greenhouse - we are there every evening enjoying the garden and plants, we had friends over at the weekend and the weather was a bit rubbish so we had drinks in it and my 5 year old son absolutely loves sewing seeds and generally helping out in there. It has really become a new and lovely focal point for us!C Farley
